Lieutenant-Colonel David Davis’s musical mastermind, Cole Friesen, and I, your humble servant, keep meaning to take photos of ourselves in the studio as we have now embarked upon the recording of our second album, but I keep forgetting to remember. Since I last wrote, I have recorded my scratch vocals for eight new tracks, and Cole is busy experimenting with marimbas and other instruments of which I know very little. We expect to release the album in the Spring of 2024, maybe earlier because I have an incurable habit of becoming over-excited and rushing things at the last moment, thereby wrecking things for everyone. Naturally, I will keep you posted.

I am writing new songs, writing books that no one will read, but mostly I have been busy creating pictures. If you would like to see them, and follow my new artist’s account on instagram you can find us at: @faux_chaufferette.
